bought this winch atv Port goods on sale for Black Friday. I went home and installed. (not supplied with winch mounting plate) I bought a plate mounted separately and after mounting and wiring, (it was my first time installing a winch and super easy) it worked fine! It came with a wireless remote, but the batteries were dead, so bought new ones and tested out, finally works and is ready. great winch, but kind of strong but not powerful enough to move 2500
